I think I get my love for jewelry from my Grandma Mac. You never saw Grandma without a pair of “earbobs” on – and usually a strand of beads. What began for me as a simple desire to learn how to make my kind of “earbobs” has grown into a full blown passion for jewelry making. A legal assistant by day – a jewelry artist by night...
I love to work with sterling silver and copper – stamping a design on the metal, hammering it, shaping it, and soldering on an accent piece of sterling silver or copper of crazy hearts or squiggles or other designs -- creating a piece of jewelry that will be treasured.
Working with a strand of rich turquoise, deep red coral, or black onyx – and feeling the warmth of each stone – makes my heart happy. Just as no two hearts are alike, you’ll find that each of my handcrafted pieces are unique and one–of-a- kind.
